"I had the pleasure of a week with Emanuela and her guidance. This was a first time at a retreat and very new to Yoga. I was concerned that I would not manage the twice-daily sessions, but with support from Emanuela and her patience and calmness explaining every move thoroughly, and keeping me focused and adapting positions. I found some exercises challenging but in each session movement became easier, more fun and enjoyable! Now, I am home. I feel inspired to undertake yoga daily and have found that the breathing exercises have helped me enormously. This has certainly improved my lung capacity and flexibility."

A typical retreat with me includes two daily classes: a dynamic morning session exploring postures through breath-synchronised movements or Ashtanga Vinyasa; and a more restorative evening class that incorporates meditation practice. I also offer afternoon clinic-style sessions. I may provide Thai massage treatments at reduced rate, schedule permitting.

It is important to me that you feel comfortable and welcomed during your time away from home. A retreat is most effective when it provides an opportunity to relax and recharge, while also fostering an environment that encourages a shift in perspective, which can be hard to do in everyday life.

"I had the immense pleasure of a whole week of body and soul nourishment under Emanuela’s excellent guidance - a tuition that brought me to a yoga practice level that I hadn’t been at for years. She rekindled my passion for daily practice, helped our group of 11 limber up, slow down and settle into ourselves. It was such a welcome, nurturing break. For me taking 7+ days to make something a habit is a great idea. Like all busy people, I find myself putting off activities that are just for me, like yoga and exercising. I loved the feeling after our twice daily sessions, and also loved just feeling stronger and fitter in general.


Emanuela is an amazing teacher, very patient, calming, and welcoming to everyone, whether you are a first timer or have been practicing for years. She designed each daily practice to include rest when you need it, and more strenuous sessions when you need those too. The exercises were doable, but challenging. If I had tried to jump into 2 hours of yoga everyday by myself, there is no way I would have made it past Day 2.


Emanuela keep my wandering brain focused. Each day, I felt better than the previous. I would highly recommend practicing yoga with Emauela, if you’re a brand-new-to-yoga person or a more experienced daily yogi - she will tailor each session for you. A wonderful experience - thank you so much."
